Estimation of Process Capability Indices and Their Confidence Intervals Based on Subsamples

Abstract: The paper provides estimators of process capability indices and their confidence
intervals based on $m$ subsamples, each of size $n$, discuss their properties,
presents the approximate sampling distributions and confidence intervals for some
indices.
