Optimal Design of Step-Stress Accelerated Life Testingwith Progressive Censoring

This paper investigates optimal designs of accelerated life tests (ALT) for exponentially distributed lifetimes under progressive censoring. We search for the optimal ALT plans which minimize the asymptotic variance of the estimated mean or maximize the determinant of Fisher matrix.
