On Stability of Skip-Free Processes with General Boundaries
This paper studies stability problems for single birth processes and single death processeswith general boundaries, respectively. By using the theory of minimal non-negative solutions, explicitcriteria are obtained, including uniqueness, recurrence, ergodicity, and strong ergodicity.
