Construction of Component Orthogonal Arrays with Flexible Factors

Abstract
Component orthogonal arrays is a kind of experimental designs that are suitable for order-of-addition experiments. This paper utilizes mutually orthogonal Latin squares obeying certain restrictions to construct component orthogonal arrays where the number of factors is a power of a prime. Further more, construction methods for component orthogonal arrays with flexible number of factors are provided. Some favorable projection properties of the obtained designs are demonstrated.
