A GENERATIZED HAMMERSTEIN MODEL AND ITS IDENTIFICATION FOR STREAMFLOW PROCESSES

A generalized Hammerstein model is proposed to describe a class of stochastio processes in hydrology. A method for designing the Hammerstein function as inputs of the system is presented which draws information from sample series of outputs of the system. The identification processes of two real examples are given to show the properties of the system. Some interesting results are obtained with the method.
