INTERACTIONS BETWEEN TWO COLUMNS OF SOME ORTHOGONAL ARRAYS

It is generally taken that the interactions between two columns of some orthogonal arrays like L₁₂(2¹¹),L₁₈（2×3⁷）,L₃₆(2³×3¹³),etc. are ’’uniformly" distributed in other columns. Is this statement justified? In this paper, we answer this question by thoroughly inverstigating the interactions between any two columns of these orthogonal arrays, giving out the distributions of these interaction and clarifying some facts about these interactions.
