Estimation of Standard Errors about Linear Equating

In this paper, asymptotic variances of linear equating were obtained for an equivalent-groups design, a counterbalanced random-groups design, and an anchor- test- random-groups design,and the standard errors of linear equating were estimated under these designs. Some problems associated equating precision were discussed.
