AN EXPLORATION OF OPTIMALITY-OF UNIFORM DESIGNS

In 1978,Uniform design was proposed and a set of useful tables for uniform design was computed,An experimental design based on these tables has the advantages of fewer experimentrials uniformly distributed and good representativeness.In this paper,the statistical optimalities of uniform design are investigated.The author presents a new ses of tables,which possess uniformity,A-optimality and D-optimality simultaneously,for experimentrials n（＜20）and tables which possess only two of the three optimalities above are also presented.The privious tables,however,do not have those that possess the statistical optimalities.Formula for calculating the related results of U_n-1（n-1）^s from U_n（n^s）are given.And it is shown that in table U_n（n^s）,no more than s/2+1factors can be arranged.
