THE APPLICATION OF SUPERSATURATED DESIGNS IN PARAMETER DESIGN

Although using compund noise factors proposed by Taguchi needs much less experimental runs than using cross-products of inner and outer arrays, it, still has clear deficiencies. Also when there are too much factors in the ourter array, ecploiting uniform designs for designs for designing the outer array or inner array may increase the number of runs. Based on this, in order to reduce the size of the experitnent, supersaturated designs are proposed to be used for outer arrays in this paper,and two examples are given for data analyses.
