THE ASYMPTOTIC PROPERTIES OF THE PARAMETER ESTIMATION IN HYDROLOGICAL STATISTICS

  • Many statistical problems in hydrology are often short of data. Sometimes however, some historic data are available from other sources. Some methods of parameter estimation have been developed for this situation. In this paper, we discussed some asymptotic properties of there estimators, mainly that of the convergence and asymptotic normality. We also discussed the problem of asymptotic efficiency for these estimators.
