Statistical Inference in J-M Model

In this paper, we discuss Jelinski-Moranda model- a famous model for software reliability. A necessary and sufficient condition has been given for existence of the maximum likelihood estimators of the parameters in the model. For the software reliability, we have given not only a scientific definition,but also the exact lower confidence limit and it’s computational method.
