On the Confidence Limits for the Mean of Exponential Distribution in the Life Tests with Mixed Truncation

In this paper, we propose a method which gives better lower confidence limits for the mean of exponential distribution in the life tests with mixed case of the fixed number of failures and fixed time. We have also proved that the confidence limit obtained is optimal in some sense.
