RESEARCH OF IDIA AND METHOD OF PAYAMETER AESIGN

G. Taguchi’s parameter design approach has generated a great deal of interest and debate among both quality practitioners and statisticians. Within recent ten years there has been considerable research concerning every aspect of parameter design. In this artiole we tried to have a brief summary of Taguchi’s parameter design and review the discussion and research by several topics. Thesetopics are number of experiments, role of interactions, signal-to-noice ratio and model of parameter design. The Taguchi’s main contributions on parameter design are listed in the concluding remarks.
