Abstract:
This paper examines a civil case concerning whether the page view (PV) of a WeChat public account was suspected of fraud, showcasing an application of data analysis in the judicial field. Based on the actual circumstances, a rational plan was designed to collect data, which was then analyzed and compared from both static and dynamic perspectives. The dynamic analysis was mutually verified from two angles: absolute and relative. The results provided strong evidence of ”abnormal PV”. Additionally, this paper introduces the process of appearing in court and discusses the take-aways that need attention when applying statistical analysis in the judicial domain.
