BOUNDS FOR THE AVAILABILITY AND UNAVAILABILITY FOR MULTISTATE MONOTONE COHERENT SYSTEMS

Abstract: Esary and Proschan （1970） and Natvig （1980） have got some bounds of availability and unavailability in a fixed time interval for binary systems. The main purposes of this paper is to extend these results to multi-state monotone coherent system. It is good that these bounds never depend on any concrete repair policies, however, they are hard to use in practice because of complexity in form.
