Abstract: Covariance adjusted approach is a powerful tool for constructing a better estimator. After introducing the approach and some important properties, this paper provides a survey of its ap-plications to various statistical models, which include the seemingly regression model, the linear regression model and the growth curve models. Some open problems are also proposed.
