Abstract: In this paper, the convergence rates of the projection residue of U-statistics are researched. When the kernel function is bounded or is something of the exponentialtype boundod, some exponential convergence rates are obtained, which are better than Hoeffding’s and Berk’s. At last, the problem of the changeupoint of scale-parametre is studied by above results.
