Abstract: We analyze the effect of Bagging on hybrid adaptive splines and propose a new spatially adaptive nonparametric estimation procedure. Simulation studies demonstrate its advantages in spatial adaptability and competitive performance with other existing well-known methods. Moreover, this method can be easily extended to multivariate cases.
