Abstract: A Monte-Carlo simulation of production and transmission of photons in a scintillation counter is instanced in the prototype of cylidrical part of time-of-flight counter.Results in agreement with experimental data are obtained.The results of the effects of the geometry of the scintillator and light guine, and the wrappage on efficiency of transmission of photons are also presented.
