On the Confidence Limits for the Mean of Exponential Distribution in the Life Tests with Mixed Truncation

摘要: 本文对混合截尾寿命试验方案下求指数分布平均寿命的置信限的问题给出了一种解决方法,且通过理论分析和模拟计算,说明了新置信限在一定意义下的优良性。Abstract: In this paper, we propose a method which gives better lower confidence limits for the mean of exponential distribution in the life tests with mixed case of the fixed number of failures and fixed time. We have also proved that the confidence limit obtained is optimal in some sense.
